At Aery
we strive to produce healthy, beautiful dogs. With that goal in
mind, we constantly evaluate ourselves and our breeding stock.
Much thought goes into each breeding and each animal has undergone the
necessary health testing before they are bred. All of our dogs
are OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for
Animals) certified and eyes are examined yearly. We have
also started to test our dogs with Optigen
PRCD-PRA DNA and all dogs have tested "A" to date.
Our dogs are tested before breeding age.
Richard's
start in dogs began at the age of 20 when he worked for professional
handlers. After acquiring his first silver miniature poodle in
1995 from his employer, Bill Cunningham, Richard was hooked.
Since
Aery's beginnings in 1996, the conception of our first litter, the
number of titled Aery miniatures is ever increasing. We have
many more on their way to the show ring and have litters
on the way.
