Arreau Standard Poodles has two very exciting  litters planned in 2015 out of our glorious American Champion Graphite at Arreau Very-Merry (Jameson). The first breeding of the year will be with Arreau's I Did It My Way CGN  CHIC (Cayenne)  and our last litter of 2015 will be the final breeding for Arreau's I'll Follow the Sun CGN, TDI  CHIC (Betty-Jo). Jameson is BB and does not carry the brown gene, and both of the girls are red. We anticipate beautiful, well conformed reds and blacks in these litters.

These Poodles have wonderful temperaments and are great with children and other dogs.

Cayenne and Betty-Jo are both fully health tested and their testing is extensive. Jameson's testing is now complete and he has OFA Good hips, elbows- normal, thyroid- normal, cardiac- normal, dentition- normal, patellas- normal, eyes- normal, vWd, DM and NE- done. All three have CHIC numbers. Testing results available at or upon request.  These breedings have been highly anticipated. We imported Jameson from the Czech Republic because of his structure and his impressive pedigree. Jameson became an American champion at just 10 1/2 months old. He became an American Grand Champion in just three weekends with 6 majors and 6 champion defeats. He will be heading north to pursue his Canadian championship as well.

You can visit our web site at and see all of them on our  "Our Dogs" page. They all have their own albums, and all of their testing is listed.

Arreau Standard Poodles is located in south western Ontario, a 2-hour drive northwest of Toronto. We are a small hobby breeder, committed to raising happy, healthy, sound, beautiful standards in red, apricot and occasionally black. We do not have kennels. Our adult breeding dogs live in families, are much loved and cherished, and their babies are whelped and reared in a home environment.

We carefully plan our litters with our top priorities being quality, health and temperament. As responsible breeders who strive for impeccable ethics, we only breed healthy dogs with complete health clearances, which are verifiable at We breed dogs with outstanding temperaments who are confident, friendly, intelligent, and easily trained.  We are proud that we now have three generations of tested and genetically screened red females.

Our puppies stay with us until they are nine and a half weeks old, receiving their first vaccine at nine weeks of age. We follow the Dr. Jean Dodds protocol for vaccination, which encourages minimal immunizations. They will be well on their way with regard to house breaking, will have had grooming experiences and will be familiar and comfortable in a crate.

Puppies leave us with a comprehensive puppy package that includes a 5 generation family tree, a DVD of photos and videos from their day of birth, valuable reading material, food, a collar and leash and health records. They are de-wormed, micro-chipped, have had their first shot and a full vet physical. Puppies also come with a two year health guarantee and are registered with The Canadian Kennel Club.

Please visit our web site at and our Facebook page at Arreau Red Standard Poodles. We are happy to answer emails or phone calls. Our puppy families have our support 24/7 for the lifetime of their pup. And we have satisfied families who would welcome an email to tell you about their experience with Arreau Standard Poodles.
