About our poodles and us:
We are a small scale breeder, raising no more than 2 litters of puppies
in our home per year. Our top priorities are health and temperament of
our pups. My husband is retired and I work part time as an R.N. So we
have the time and energy to heavily socialize our pups and take very
good care of them. We keep our own dogs [3 standards and 1 havanese]
exercised by walking, throwing tennis balls,
and trips to the beach. It’s
important to also exercise the mind of your pet. So we are involved in
rally obedience, handling classes, and obedience with our dogs. With
our litters, we do early neurological testing, and raise them right in
our kitchen till 8 weeks old. They are temperament tested at 7 wks.
