We
are a small hobby kennel that breeds less than 2 litters per year.
Although all the dogs are house pets, they are all AKC Champions. All
breeding stock has passed all of the recommended health and genetic
screenings plus some. Only healthy, sound, and calm dogs are used in
our breeding program. Most of our dogs also compete in
performance events such as obedience, agility, tracking, or
therapy work. Spirit Poodles is especially proud to have correct
temperaments/drive for hunting, both upland and waterfowl. We breed
fun, outgoing, happy, loving, poodles that make excellent pets.
Our ultimate goal for each litter is health, temperament, and looks.
We socialize our puppies with a neonatal "superdog" program
developed by the US military. They are raised in the living room with
the sights and sounds of a busy home and are handled by children and
adults many times a day. Vet checked, wormed, first shots, and dews
and tails done (long dock). They are potty pad trained and
started on housetraining before leaving our home. Please ask for
references from past litters.
