Here at Whispering
Pines Standard Poodles we only breed a litter to produce the puppy who
will hopefully be the next step in our breeding program. We
breed the best we can because we are primarily breeding for ourselves
and we want to own the best poodle there is! We do not
specialize in a particular color but instead focus on the best over
all poodle for our goals of good health, conformation, and
temperament. Therefore we have poodles of various colors and all
are loved and cherished equally. Our website lists our upcoming
breeding plans and what colors we are expecting at that time.
All our sires and dams have full health testing done prior to breeding
to ensure we produce the healthiest puppies possible (after all, our
goal is to produce the next generation for ourselves!) and all are
titled. We also try to focus on establishing low inbreeding
co-efficiencies whenever possible for genetic diversity and
temperament is a top priority. All puppies are raised in a
loving home and handled daily from birth.
An extensive puppy packet is given with each puppy including copies of
all testing done on the parents, pedigrees, photo layouts of the
puppy's relatives, informational articles on health issues plaguing
the poodle breed and much much more.
All pet/companion puppies are placed with spay/neuter contracts and
all puppy buyers must fill out an application to purchase a puppy from
us. Show prospects are placed by co-ownership until they are
titled. We will ship but do prefer to deliver personally if
possible or have you come visit us in our home.

testing results. I raise poodles because I enjoy sharing my
life, heart, and home with them and enjoy competing in various venues
with them. I do not make a 'living' out of dog breeding. I
have a full time career outside the home that pays for my love of
poodles.
