Bay, California. Breeding top quality Standard
Poodles for both the show ring and for the pet home.
Astoria is dedicated to breeding healthy, beautiful,
sound dogs with the correct Poodle temperament. |

All puppies are
registered with the American Kennel Club.
Breeding stock is tested for Hips, Eyes, Thyroid, SA (sebaceous
adenitis), & VWD (Von Willebrand's Disease by DNA).
Pet puppies are sold on nonbreeding/limited registration agreements.
Potential buyers are screened to select the best home for each of
our puppies.
We are proud of
the dogs we show and breed, not only for their accomplishments in
the show ring, but for those who have gone on to be devoted and
loving family companions.
We are very careful
in selecting our Stud, it takes me countless hours of research to
make sure we have the best selection for our girls. Poodles are
wonderful they make great companions and are very good with
children. My 11 year old daughter is our "socializing
agent". She and her little friends make sure every puppy is
well socialized.
I keep low numbers of dogs in my home to ensure normal life style
for my family and the dogs, we don't have a kennel. I breed only
very few litters a year and usually when I like a new puppy for my
self to compete with, most of the littermates end up in fabulous
companion homes. All puppies are born in our bedroom and they stay
there for the first three weeks of their lives after that I move
them downstairs to the family room where they get exposed to all
kinds of things.
Breeding dogs is not what I do for a living but it is a passion. I'm
a Realtor by profession and also own a small business here in
