Our goal in breeding is to produce a poodle
correct in conformation and temperament with the best health possible.
We compete with our dogs in Breed, Agility, Obedience and Jr.
Handling.
To help insure continued good health in our poodles; we do genetic and
health screening on our breeding dogs. We test Hips- OFA; eyes-
CERF; vWD- genetic test; SA; Thyroid- OFA panel; Cardiac- CERF, and
DNA Profile- AKC. My husband is a veterinarian and he helps keep our
poodles healthy.
We generally have one litter a year. Our puppies are evaluated
for temperament and conformation before placement. Care is taken to find forever homes for our babies.
We moved to Alaska in 1998. Currently I am a member of the Kenai
Kennel Club, Kenai, AK. Before moving I was a member of
the Orlando Poodle Club.
